Lifting Support to OEM For Installation of 4WD Vulcan II Chassis Dyno System

Working for our repeat OEM client Horiba, we initially attended Cambustion Limited site in Cambridge to offload the new 8t 4WD Vulcan II Chassis Dyno system into onsite storage and revisited to provide lifting support for installation as part of our Machinery Moving service.

Utilising our 16t JMG crane and 10t lifting beam, we ingress the Dyno, lowered it into the pit and rested on the middle section of the elephants' feet. Once we removed the JMG Crane, we set the lifting beams on each side of the pit and used a set of skates placed in line with the fixed Dyno. Utilising cribs, timbers, lifting beams and 4 x 5t chain blocks fitted to the load links, we lifted clear of the floor and lowered into the final position. Using our JMG crane, we ingress the 2 x moving Dyno frames into the pit and using a 10t lifting beam, we lifted the moving Dyno and placed it inside the framework into its final position.

We also provided lifting support to fit all support steelwork, floor plates and all other Dyno ancillaries and finally raised up and fitted the bottom platform to the drive and power cabinets.
