Coming Soon: The JMG MC-160 Crane

This week, a handful of the VIG team packed their bags as we took a quick trip to Italy!

We headed off to the city of Cremona, a short distance from Milan, to take a look at the new JMG MC-160 16 Tonne Fully Electric Pick and Carry Crane we are adding to our fleet of specialist lifting equipment.

The JMG MC-160 16T Pick and Carry Crane is one of the most versatile cranes on the market today and is a perfect example of next-generation lifting equipment. This crane has a max lifting capacity of 16 tonnes and can assist in any machinery moving project we take on.

The JMG MC-160 features two electric motors that give you up to 700 Nm of torque for heavy loads and an advanced control system for smoother lifting operations. The crane operates entirely on electric power and has a battery life of 8 working hours, meaning it is very dependable and engineered to complete moves as efficiently as possible.

As well as this, the JIB comes with numerous different extension options, such as the self-levelling fork attachment which adds an extra 8 tonnes to the lifting capacity, maximising the versatility and flexibility this state-of-the-art crane gives the operator. Designed to be easily manoeuvred, with 180-degree steering and counter-rotating traction wheels, this crane provides the operator with many options when navigating even in the tightest environments. With a lower centre of gravity than most cranes, the JMG MC-160 is one of the market's safest, most reliable pieces of lifting equipment.

We observed the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedure, allowing us to monitor our new crane in action. Let us tell you now that it did not disappoint!

Functioning in accordance with all design specifications, we're delighted to announce that we will be adding this crane to our fleet very shortly, with it due it arrive in the UK next week.
